CSN. MARTIN D-28, BRAZILIAN ROSEWOOD, 1968 . HSC. $5200.

Beautiful Brazilian rosewood sides and back with a fine Sitka spruce soundboard; Ebony fingerboard and bridge; This gem plays great and is in excellent condition. There are a couple minor cracks at the edge of the lower bout on the top and back, and 2 short back cracks, one from the top and one from the bottom. Also has the typical pickguard crack next to the replacement black pickguard. There is a little overspray on the top lower bout. The sound is typically big and sweet. The action at the 12th is 2mm/3mm.

Mahogany and spruce, all solid woods. Sounds like a D-18 - full and bright. There has been some work done on the back but it looks pro. The set up is great and it plays like a dream. Tone as big as the HMS Dreadnaught.

All mahogany "O" size guitar with greast bright sound. Easy to handle and easy to play. Action the 14th fret is: treble 4/32"; bass 5/32". Serial #AH1494. Shows some wear on the sides from living in a cardboard case for many years. No cracks. The plastic peghead has shrunk a bit as they are wont to do, but it has been re-glued.

All original, very clean, no cracks. no damage. All solid woods - spruce and mahogany; X braced top; rosewood fingerboard and bridge; tortoise pickguard; action is good, neck is straight; frets are very good; plays easily. 24 3/4" string length; 2" nut.

The Jimmy Rodgers "Singing Brakeman" model from the early 1960's. All solid spruce and mahogany, this "000" size guitar has a clear and well balanced voice. The bridge is a replacement, but all else is original. No other repairs. Model 6003, made in Brooklyn.

Limited Edition! Model T-376 #599. Birch construction, Made in the USofA. Neck straight, plays easily. Repair near the bottom of the heel. Pretty decent ring to it, really, and it's got looks to beat the (Marine) Band! Lower bout is 15.5" wide. Ladder bracing.

The All Nighter Flat Boy, #472. , 2015. $1995. ON HOLD

This All Nighter model features a center block of Spanish cedar running through the body to offer better feedback control. The bent side construction and spruce top keep the weight way way low (6 pounds - even with heavy strings) and provide a great acoustic vibe. This guitar has handwound Kent Armstrong split coil pickups for an amazing variety of tones. There are two push/pull pots and one tone control with a 3-way flip switch. The neck is a maple/rosewood Mighty Mite bolt on with a custom "Lehmann Whoosh" headstock. The back and sides are Australian Lacewood. The string length is 24 3/4" and the lower bout is 15 1/2". Comes with quality Ritter gig bag or deluxe TKL hard case add $125.

This VINTAGE sweetie has a gorgeous honey burst finish and a single speed bump pickup. It's slender 2 3/4 inch thick body is lithe and fast. With a 15 1/2" lower bout width and a great feeling neck you won't want to put her down. It has the original Kluson strip tuners in fine condition, a perfectly straight neck, and great action.

KAY - SHERWOOD STANDARD ARCHTOP, C. 1950. $325.

Sherwood was a line of Kay guitars.  This one plays great and has a perfect set up.  You'll be surprised how rich and sweet it sounds!  The body is solid spruce and laminated maple; The neck is hearty and true.  The tuners are replaced - perhaps from an old Guild.  There is a little finish color chipping on the back.  Tortoise pickguard; adjustable rosewood bridge.

Modeled after the Fender Esquire prototype from 1949, this one is gold leafed!  Fantastically interesting look to the finish.  It has been lacquered over to protect it. Underneath is a sold ash body.  The pickup is a DiMarzio.  All the hardware has been antiqued to look like 1949.  3 + 3 headstock is fitted with Kluson tuners.  The neck is a nice full round shape and finished with tinted nitro lacquer.  Single ply black pickguard.  It is set up great and plays nicely.  Comes with a rectangular hard case.

GIBSON Model C-1 MANDOLIN, 1932. $675.

Very rare model only made one year during the depression. Similar to the Army-Navy model with a flat top and back, but with the "A" model shape and X bracing. A fine, open sounding mando that has been through countless wars and proven itself. The neck is straight and it plays great. The frets are clean and have plenty of height. New tailpiece and ebony bridge. One tuner button replaced. There's a bit of pickguard wear, and the "pickguard" has been repainted. No case.

Joel Walker Sweeney, also known as Joe Sweeney, was a musician and early blackface minstrel performer. He is known for popularizing the playing of the banjo and was the first documented white banjo player. 1810 - 1860. This is a handmade replica of his banjo from a Bell & Sons kit. It has a 13" skin head and a 27" scale. The thin oak rim has 6 brass hooks & nuts and tension hoop. It features an ebony tailpiece and tuning pegs. The instrument is finished in lustrous garnet French polish.
