About the Instrument

This vielle has a dark chocolate walnut neck and tailpiece and some lovely curly maple with an antique finish.  It features a single chip-carved rosette in the spruce soundboard.  The top has inset purfling  strips and the neck has 6 tied frets.  It is strung with gut and features handcarved "T" pegs in rosewood.   The top mounted pegs are especially nice for playing da gamba style.  Bows and gig bags ar sold separately.
