Model KN #555

12 Fret Cutaway

About the Instrument
The Model KN is named after Rochester player extraordinaire Kinloch Nelson and employs the perfect format of a classical guitar with the modern needs of the fingerstylist. It has a 12 fret neck that places the bridge in the optimal center location on the soundboard, and a cutaway that allow easy access to the upper frets. The instrument is well balanced and rests lightly in your hand. The tone is full and it speaks quickly. This guitar, #555 features dark Brazilian rosewood with a Port Orford Cedar soundboard. Port Orford has remarkable sustain, and a clearer tone than red cedars. The neck is a beautiful piece of curly koa, and the fingerboard is Brazilian rosewood fit with EVO Gold frets and engraved Deco pearl inlays. The tuners are ebony button 18:1 Shertlers from Switzerland. The Brazilian pinless bridge has carved tails and a bone saddle. It comes with a Hiscox hard case. This is a GREAT sounding guitar!!!
